Frank’s stories, stunts and slapstick delighted the crowd of 300 students. The performance was the school’s prize from the City of Darebin for registering for VicHealth’s Walk to School month, an annual campaign to encourage primary school students to walk, ride or scoot to school and build healthy habits for life. During October, students from Holy Name walked, rode or scooted the distance from Melbourne to the Sunshine Coast in Queensland as part of the initiative.
‘Walk to School month is a great program and we were really happy to be involved. It benefits our students, their families, traffic congestion and the environment,’ said Holy Name principal David Delaney. Following Frank Woodley’s visit, laughter can be added to the list of benefits.
